About the client
Vilki-Palki is a comprehensive digital ecosystem for a restaurant chain that integrates food delivery, CRM, and marketing automation into a single, high-performance interface. Developed in collaboration with the Razom team, the platform serves as the backbone of the restaurant’s operations, connecting customers directly to the kitchen and management systems.
The project focuses on streamlining the user journey from the first click to the final delivery. Overall, Vilki-Palki is a benchmark for modern FoodTech, providing a seamless experience for thousands of daily users while optimizing internal business processes for the restaurant staff.
Challenges
Building an all-in-one restaurant platform requires overcoming significant technical and design debt. The existing platform suffered from an outdated UX and fragmented integration with the CRM, leading to friction in the ordering process. Furthermore, the lack of a unified design system meant that every new feature felt disconnected, slowing down development and increasing production bugs.
The challenge was to standardize the interface across multiple services—delivery, loyalty programs, and internal management tools—while simultaneously launching new marketing features to improve customer retention in a highly competitive market.
Solution statement
To create a scalable solution for Vilki-Palki, we followed a systematic UX-driven approach centered on the creation of a comprehensive Design System. Our primary focus was on establishing a unified visual language that would standardize components across the entire platform, ensuring consistency and ease of use.
Our decision involved a deep dive into the restaurant's operational flow, allowing us to design wireframes and features that integrate natively with the delivery and CRM back-ends. We developed a customized design-to-production pipeline that allowed for rapid prototyping and testing of new features. By creating modular UI components, we reduced the time required to build and deploy marketing tools, making the platform more agile and responsive to business needs.
So a collaborative effort between UX design and engineering ensured that every update was optimized for both the end-user and the internal team. This included a complete overhaul of the navigation and the introduction of standardized interaction patterns that lowered the learning curve for new users.
